...PLAYFUL SHIP JUMPING...
Just to clear up any possible confusion about the recent "ship jumping" going on for the sake of fun.
Those of you complaining about it... it's summer time, so lighten up. It wasn't intended to be mean and if you took it that way you're really taking things way too seriously. No one was making fun of anyone. It was something new to stir up laughs. Big deal! If you're going to let someone having fun like that get to you and "offend" you... that's your business, but leave your complaints off of my board. I don't have the time or the patience this summer to deal with it. It's summer time and thanks to my summer school schedule, this *is* my only summer fun. I refuse to have my only "fun" ruined by the bitching and complaining of posters. So relax and don't take everything so darn seriously for goodness sakes!
...POLLS DURING SUMMER RULES...
Now, as far as things are going with Summer Rules. I've been extra lenient with allowing the polls and stuff... and it's just going to be one of those things where some polls survive and some don't. You piss me off at any point in the day and then post a "What's your favorite episode?" poll...count on it getting deleted. If you're not going to post at least a *creative* poll that requires more thinking than "What's your favorite character" or "What's your favorite quote?" then please don't even bother. It will get deleted.
But just so it's also clear... the polls/questionares/quizes/etc., are ALWAYS under the conditions as they are on the general board and this is pretty much a running rule for every kind of "theme" post. You get ONE THREAD A DAY! One thread for stories. One thread for polls. One thread for games. One thread for reviews. Etc. You post more than that and the additional posts will get deleted. If you're lucky, someone will warn you first. It just depends on what board cleaners are around and how much time they have to deal with it. So CONSOLIDATE your posts! If you have more than one quiz to post, post the excess as replies or save it for another day. ONE PER DAY!
...REGULAR UPDATE...
I tried *really* hard to get as much of an update done as possible. I had a midterm to study for and therefore... I didn't get as much done as I wanted to this weekend. I think I got everyone who sent me an e-mail at least checked out--there were a couple who e-mailed in April and I haven't seen a post by them in a while...so they didn't get added. Several people on the list were added days after my last update (back in April, sadly) but the list wasn't published to the web and I wasn't able to figure out if these people are actively posting. So, the names are there and in a week or so, if I don't see these people posting, I'll probably remove them. As usual, IF YOU DON'T E-MAIL ME ABOUT BEING ADDED... THERE'S NO GUARANTEE! I'm a busy girl and there are way too many people on the board for me to keep track of who is and who isn't a regular in my head. The slightest hint of whining in response to *not* being added is an automatic "not added" for the next update. So, do me and yourself a favor and just *tell* me if you haven't been added. A quick simple, "My posting name is .... and I'm not a regular yet" will do the trick. Painful, I know. :)
